Social Media -- you hear and read it everywhere.  So, what does it all mean?  SM is a positive term for online networking with other professionals, friends and family.  It can be just as serious or as crazy as you want it to be.  

Just Remember! What happens on the Net gets all over the Net.  Your next important contact will be able to follow your tracks, clean or muddy!

Is it okay to have an account at MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and maybe a blog or two? -- These and other networks that will contact you as soon as you set foot into Social Media-land are all a part of the Social Media community. At this writing, FaceBook and Twitter, plus LinkedIn are my favorites for contact.

LinkedIn is less nonsense and more business connections

FaceBook is often used for both business and personal. Some people save FaceBook or MySpace for personal, with LinkedIn for business. 

Twitter is micro-blogging.  All posts are limited to 140 characters.
