the dip by Seth Godin

by JudyAnn on August 30, 2010

The dust jacket says “A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit (and When to Stick)

Godin writes about the varying business emotion that occurs in every project.  Some days are just better than others.   The thing is to just be watchful about the conditions.  Is this thing a bust — should we just quit and move on?  Or is it a slow spot while we’re getting our brains together.

Godin holds that quitting isn’t losing or failing, it’s being smart enough to lose the baggage and work on something that can be finished.

Check out the dip and see if you can recognize the characteristics of dips in your life and business life.
