Clients who are still trying to get a handle on the potential for their business when working with a Virtual Professional (or Virtual Assistant) will benefit from viewing the VA as a professional who brings more than keyboarding skills to the team. Suddenly, there is not one more person to keep busy, same as you might have with a new onsite employee, but there is a partner on the team who knows what your part is and what the virtual part are. Accountability have come full circle.
For this example, I’m going to use a feminine virtual professional profile. I want to stress that there are some extremely capable men who work virtually. To give your new team member a name, Jane VA is going to come onto the team as a business person in her own right. She’s probably not going to be uncomfortable reminding you to do things. Suddenly, you know she has gotten her part ready without your reminders and that she is expecting the reports on your part so she can move to the next task level.
You can get a virtual team member at any level you want.
-
Virtual girl Friday for one or two tasks
-
Virtual specialist for a project; after your blog is installed, for example, you are ready to go. Or after your QuickBooks is set up, you can now make the entries for your business.
-
Virtual administrative assistant who knows where you are. She knows if you need to be brought into the project or communication or if she should take the message for you.
-
Virtual professional ‘partner’ who does much of the same work an administrative assistant would do, but has an eye for the forward move of the project and isn’t intimidated about stepping up to manage the project because you have a working agreement for the future of this project.
At Partner with a Virtual Assistant, Karri Flatla of Snap-Virtual Associates, Inc wrote How Outsourcing Can Make You More Accountable where she discusses her positive experience working with a virtual professional ( virtual assistant) who professionally keeps her accountable and makes it fun!

Excellent post! I found your blog by following the pingback on Karri’s post over at the VAnetworking blog. You both make a great case for how much we as virtual assistants can offer to our clients.
A virtual assistant are truly can help for internet marketers or for small business firms needs. VA can do a lot of different things for your business needs.
